According to Granma news daily, the Cuban delegation to the meeting in Canada was headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, while the Canadian side was headed by his Canadian counterpart, James Edwards, and also included officials from the Canadian Agency for International Development and from other areas of political bilateral relations and international trade.
Both parts agreed on the good status of bilateral relations, particularly in the development of economic, trade and cooperation ties and the increase of these links in areas such as tourism, construction, agriculture and scientific-technical development.
The Cuban delegation also met with officials from the Canadian Ministry of Agriculture and with parliamentarians from the province of Ontario.
