The gala of the nominees took place at the Tripp Habana Libre Hotel, were special; awards were handed in for pieces of exceptional quality and high contributions to the culture of the country.

Other awards will stimulate the best pieces in recording, design, multimedia, video-clip, documentary and discography notes.

The award giving gala will take place at the Karl Marx Theater, where the Honor Awards will also be handed in. the forum will pay tribute to two legends of percussion in the country, Chano Pozo (1915-1948) and Tata Guines, who dies recently.

The closing ceremony will take place at the Amadeo Roldán Auditorium Theater and the National Symphonic Orchestra is to offer a concert.
