Havana 's International Institute of Journalism develops a training course in Las Tunas

Professionals from all the media of this territory, about 670 kilometers to the east of Havana, and the eastern provinces, Camagüey and Ciego de Ávila, meet in the Simón Bolívar Polytechnic Institute, of this city, to discuss indispensable topics of their management, starting from four modules on this kind of journalism.
Master in Sciences of the Information, Zulia Ramírez Céspedes, specialist in Architecture of the Information, analyzed different theoretical elements of this discipline and in the first day she carried out a workshop on the digital media of this region.
The practical activity become a rich exchange of experiences that redounded in the analysis of difficulties and in new projections to improve the work of the Cuban press in Internet.
Zulia will also lecture on the components of the Architecture of the Information, the design centered on the user by means of the technique of Card Sorting, the evaluation of the Architecture of the Information and the new tendencies in this discipline.
This Thusday the professor Eric Silva will dedicate the day to the analysis of the multimedia production in Internet, starting from the theoretical-conceptual and methodological foundations of the design and multimedia production, as well as the channels and main components; the methodology for the development of this work type, and the design of graphic interface.
Next week professors Tomás Inda and Anidelys Rodríguez Brito will develope the modules The Digital Image and Journalistic Writing in Internet.
The fifth training course on Digital Journalism is part of the curricular program of the Havana 's International Institute of Journalism, that now is caried out for the first time outside of its building in the capital of the country, as a way of extending its teaching activities throughout the nation, and Las Tunas is the first province in assuming this experience.
The eastern province of Las Tunas is one of the zones with the best development in the Cuban digital journalism and in the world wide web is represented by the mass media 26 digital, Tiempo21, Visión Tunera, Radio Libertad, Radio Maboas and Eco Tunero.
