Cuban universities go hand in hand with the countrys progress: VIII International Scientific Conference.
The higher education center, named after the outstanding patriot Major General Máximo Gómez Báez, will open its doors to national and foreign specialists in several fields such as agricultural sciences, engineering, economics, computer science, tourism, physical culture and Pedagogical Sciences

The sustainable production of food will be among the topics discussed by the specialists attending this event in October 21-25. Other topics in debate will be tourism and regional development; extensive and distance education, as well as agricultural engineering.

Since its foundation in 1978, the Ciego de Ávila University has graduated more than 6 200 students, among them, more than 270 foreign students from 33 countries.
