Habaguanex S.A. Cuban Tourism Company announced the opening of New Hotel in Havana
Cuba's tourism company Habaguanex S.A. announced the opening of the Marques de Prado Ameno hotel, in the old section of the Cuban capital, that is declared World Cultural Heritage.

The 4-star facility will have 16 rooms, including three suites and 13 standard rooms, decorated with restored murals from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Habaguanex is leading the restoration project of the facilities located all along Havanas Malecon (sea wall) that began earlier this year with the opening of the Neruda Café and the Tapas Lava Dia Bar.

The tourism company was created in 1994 and it was named after a Cuban cacique that ruled in the western area of the island.

Currently, Habaguanex runs some twenty hotels, 30 restaurants, 60 cafeterias and bars, and more than 80 stores.
