Local tourism authorities pointed out investments are part of a program to improve services at tourist facilities.

They added that a group of cabanas at the Los Caneyes Motel and the mineral-medicinal spa of Elguea are being remodeled.

Villa Clara has more than 2,700 hotel rooms, most of which are located on the northern keys.

The province also offers historic, cultural and ecological options in the Guamuhaya mountain range.
