For blind people Cuba has 119 libraries

These cultural institutions, which received over 11 thousand people last year, have the bibliography in Braille system, as well as works recorded in cassettes and Cds.
The biggest of these units is at an ANCI cultural recreational center in Havana City and is in remodeling process with the support of the National Organization of Spanish Blind people.
It was also known that the provinces of Villa Clara, Camaguey, Las Tuna and Santiago de Cuba have libraries in every municipalities, attended by blind technitians, trained in this job.
Tthe delegates to the plenary analyzed the report of the main activities made by the organization during 2007 and they were informed about the results of the emulation and the future work.
