These sales allow the avid Havana public to get a head start on some of the titles that will be presented at the fair.

As a first this year, the fair will "extend" throughout the city; that is, books will be sold at literary cafes frequented by university students, and also in five recreation centers.

These areas will also host plays, concerts and book presentations on the weekends until February 24, when the fair concludes.
