Las Tunas to Achieve First National Place of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution Work

Las Tunas enrolls to maintain the condition of Outstanding in Cuba.
The results reached from September to December, locate the CDR of this territory in the first place of the fraternal competition in the country, merit that didn't conquer since 1988.
This was possible for the work developed in indicators such as as the people's surveillance and the fulfillment of the blood donations at 103 percent that are guaranteed for the surgical interventions in the hospital centers of the territory.
José Blanco Martínez, Provincial Coordinator of this organization, stated that to secure the obtained achievements and to motivate those more than 379, 000 citizens, integrated in 6, 906 committees in Las Tunas, the CDR are carrying out actions that include festival activities and fraternal competitions, omong others.
The Provincial Coordinator of the CDR also asserted that the Seventh Congress of the organization, with more than three thousand grass- root assemblies carried out in the territory, is and will be a favorable space to strengthen the debate and to stimulate the critic about the deficiencies that still persist in the committees.
The maximum direction of the CDR works in other parameters such as the assistance to combatants and family, the system of prevention and social assistance, the assistance to youths that have abadoned the school or work, and management to execute the Program "Educates your son."
There are still three periods before the end of the CDR year that begins on October 1st, and concludes with the final election of the Outstanding province in the CDR work.
