New community services to open doors in Camagüey city
Three important community services will be opened in the city of Camaguey early this year: the College Prep School on Computing Sciences , the Joaquin de Aguero Policlinic and the Provincial Centre of Medical Genetics.

Julio César García Rodríguez, First Secretary of the Communist Party (PCC) in the province, accompanied by Mario Pérez Rodríguez, director of the Entrepreneurial Group of the Ministry of Communication and other officials visited the above mentioned places and confirmed that, without spoiling the quality of the buildings completion, all them could be rendering services by the end of January.

The workers of the construction company (Empresa Constructora de Obras Industriales y de Arquitectura Número 8) are putting the finishing touch to the policlinic, situated in La Vigía quarter, which will offer primary and overall services of health to more than 22 000 inhabitants, residing in the peoples councils Vigía-Florat and Buenos Aires-Bellavista.

Furthermore, labourers of the same company and others of the Empresa de Ingeniería N0.15 are increasing efforts in the Provincial Centre of Medical Genetics, near the Women and Infant Hospital of Camaguey, a scientific centre that has a great importance, so that through it the infant and mother mortality rates can be reduced even more.
