More Art Teachers at Work in Ciego de Ávila
The different levels of arts teaching in Ciego de Ávila will be benefit with the incorporation of 168 new teachers. They come from the Manuel Suarez and Nicolás Guillén schools, respectively located in Ciego and Camgüey provinces.

This new batch increases to 611 the number of youths devoted to educational work in the 10 municipalities of the province. They teach at pre-kinder, primary, as well as junior and senior high school. Their specialities comprise music, theatre, dance and plastic arts, all of which means a considerable contribution to the shaping of the new generations.

The graduates signed their Professional Ethics Code, in a place located on the reconstructed tract of the Júcaro-Moron Military Trail, which act reaffirms their condition as professionals and their commitment to the Cuban society.

This is the fourth graduation of art teachers taking place in Ciego de Ávila after the opening of arts teachers training centers in 2003, after the idea of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.
