Cuban film director Juan Carlos Cremata (Viva Cuba) will begin to film "El Premio Flaco", a film based on their colleague's homonymous piece, drama and theater writer Héctor Quintero.
Sources of the Cuban Institute of Cinema of the island told Prensa Latina that the filming will be in Havana, starred by Rosa Vasconcellos, an actress coming from the theater, and Carlos Gonzalvo.
This last one is one of the axes of a humorous space, of high TV acceptance in the country, in which embodies a hilarious, irreverent and ironic professor, Mentepollo.
The plot of the work of Quintero is set in the 50's, when Iluminada, a woman of the humble neighborhoods, finds a capsule rewarded in a soap, which makes her the winner of a new house.
Co-directed by Iraida Malberti and with Oscar Valdés as photography director, the long fiction film marks the return of Broselianda Hernánez (Barrio Cuba), Alina Rodríguez (María Antonia) and Luis Alberto García (La Vida es Silbar).
