More than 350 participants, most of them from Europe but also from Latin America and even from Japan, came to the second Encuentro de Bailadores y Academias de Casino y Salsa (Encounter of Casino Dancers and Academies) that took place in Havana.

Baila en Cuba (Dance in Cuba) is an initiative of the ARTEX company and its travel agency Paradiso to propitiate the knowledge of the music and the popular rhythms of our country, from the most traditional ones to the most current ones.

Cuban dances have an increasing peak in the world, and for its proper learning the participants in this encounter have workshops and lessons taught to them by teachers from the Escuela Nacional de Arte (National Art School) and Instituto Superior de Arte (The Higher Art Institute).

Equally important is the fact that Baila en Cuba incorporates in our most popular orchestras in its program, to restate the musical power of our people.
