 Silvio discography in digital format now
Cuban singer/songwriter Silvio Rodriguez will offer starting next October 16 the twenty albums of his discography now in digital format, which will be legally downloadable from several on-line stores in Internet.

The multinational TV station Telesur highlights this Monday that the sale will coincide with tour through Spain of the artist which will begin on October 23 in Barcelona and will take him to several cities until November 18.

In this tour through the European nation, the troubadour will interpret some of the songs of the album 37 songs of Noel Nicola in which several artists like Luis Eduardo Aute, Chucho Valdes, Caco Senante and Ismael Montero participate.

Silvio Rodriguez, one of the fathers of the Cuban Nueva Trova, together with Noel Nicola and Pablo Milanes, decides with this action to spread his songs all over the world.

Ojala, Te doy una canción, Más de una vez, Historia de una silla and El papalote, among many others, are some of the creations that will be available in Internet.

The Cuban singer and songwriter, of 60 years old, published in 1968 his first solo album, Pluma en ristre (The pen at the Ready) and became part of the new group of artists created in Havana whose music was characterized to collect the Cuban musical tradition.

In accordance with the digital distributor of the General Society of Authors and Editors, in the coming days it will be possible to download some of the artist's best known works, like Dias y flores (1975), Al final de este viaje (1978) and others more recent like Érase que se era, published in year 2006 and for which Silvio was nominated to the Grammy Awards.
