The Cuban singer will begin in Barcelona his tour of nine Spanish cities in October and will extend it until November, informed his promoter, Habana Kultura.
The tour will kick off on October 23 in the Musical Theater of Barcelona with two concerts and will finish on November 18 in the Sports Palace of Madrid, the Spanish capital.
The author of "Unicornio azul" will likewise perform in Valencia (October 27), Alicante (Oct 29), Murcia (Oct 31), Castellón (November 3), Granada (Nov 5), Las Palmas (Nov 9) and Tenerife (Nov 11).
The singer-songwriter will perform accompanied by Niurka González (flute and clarinet), Oliver Valdés (percussion) and Trovarroco Trio (Rachid López, Maikel Elizarde and César Bacaró).
Silvio Rodríguez was nominated to the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards in the Best Singer-Songwriter Album category with "Érase que se era" (Once Upon a Time), a double CD that "attracted the unanimous attention of the public and critics" since its release in 2006, and "this did not go unnoticed by the voters" in the selection of the CDs nominated to the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards", Granma daily highlighted last August.
