Full-length films and documentaries films from nine nations will compete for the Diva Awards in the fourth Panama International Film Festival from September 1 to 8, sources of the sector and organizing committee said Monday.

As of today the confirmed nations are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, USA, Venezuela and Panama, as host country.

The fourth festival slogan is "Latin Image and Sound in Panama" and prizes will be awarded for best documentary, soundtrack, edition, university film, video clip, institutional video tape and electronic design.

Eight films will be shown from Colombia, to which this edition is dedicated.
