Municipalization of higher education

Havana, July 23- The first 500 Cuban universities, trained through the municipalization of higher education, will be graduated Monday at this capital's Anti-Imperialist Tribune.

This concern of young social workers, leaders of the communist youth and primary teachers from Havana and Matanzas, who studied for six years in their own municipalities of residence.

This plan, denominated universalization of the University, allows the overcrowded in that education level, whose registration for next academic course will reach over 600,000 students in that modality.

Cuba has been applying this type of education for six years, to provide equal opportunities to those who want to reach that university level in the country's 169 municipalities.
