Over 30 Indonesian sportsmen will travel to Cuba on Tuesday to fulfill a seven-month intensive training program, said the Sports and Youth State Minister Adhyaksa Dault.

The talented youth, between 11 and 20 years old, will practice gymnastics, volleyball, freestyle wrestling and boxing and will be members of the first group of graduate athletes in Cuba, emphasized the top official.

The objective is to make Indonesia, in its condition of headquarters, win "as much as possible" and recover its regional supremacy in the Asian Southern Games 2011.

During the visit of Roberto Leon Richard, First Vice President of Cuban Sports Institute to the island last May, both countries signed a sport cooperation agreement which will be closely followed through the establishment of a data base.
