Aumenta el turismo en Cuba
Estados Unidos figura en la lista de los diez primeros emisores de turistas a la Isla, pese al embargo, ya que muchas personas usan terceros países como México y Bahamas para llegar a Cuba. Las estadísticas muestran que Estados Unidos pasó de emitir 84.529 viajeros en 2003 a un mínimo de 36.808 en 2006 y luego repuntó levemente a 40.521 en 2007.

Salaries Will Be Increased in the educational sector by the Cuban Government
About 545,000 workers of the sector will benefit from the increase. The monthly average increase in the General and Mid-Level Education sector will be of 166 pesos for teachers, while professors in higher educational institutions will get an increase of 145 in their monthly salaries.
