Stem Cell Therapy Available in Cuba
Deputy Director of the Cuban Hematology and Immunology Institute Dr Porfirio Hernandez Ramirez said in Havana that Cuba has extended to several provinces the use of stem cells to treat patients whose circulatory problems have compromised their lower estremities. Such is the case of stroke patients and people suffering from diabetes.

Zeolite Exports Grow in Holguín, Cuba
The zeolite proccessing plant of the Cuban eastern province of Holguin exported 3,000 tons of zeolite in 2008 to six countries of Europe and Latin America, showing the quality of the so-called "mineral of the 20th Century" in Cuba.
