<p style="text-align: justify;">Setting a new record of 172,772 for the month of August, the number of visitors arriving in Cuba rose 5.4 percent during the month, the Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas (ONE) reported in a bulletin. The monthly statistics didn’t provide a breakdown of origin, nor did they include revenue figures. Visitor numbers dipped in August last year. Even so, this year’s August figures were 2.9 percent higher than in August 2008, the previous record for the month.
