Cuban Specialists Awarded in China

Gloria Rodriguez and Luis Herrera received in China the Friendship Prize, given by the government of that Asian nation to people contributing to its development. Rodriguez has been offering his services since 2007in the Cuban-Chinese eye hospital of the city of Hebei, in Henan province, and Herrera is the director of Havana’s Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, which maintains links of cooperation with that republic.
