“Freedom is not about changing masters; it's about learning to walk on our own legs, even if the path is strewn with thorns,” he proclaimed.
Alling firmly rejected annexation as a political option. “I do not want annexation and I am not willing to debate it with anyone,” he stated, adding that he would not trade sovereignty for annexationism.
He also remarked that Cuba “has never been truly free” and that the nation stands “on the brink of achieving it with our own hands,” emphasizing a call to protect national identity and pursue freedom without external concessions.
