Vatican distances itself from WikLeaks cable statements

Top News: The Holy See has backed away from statements attributed to it by secret cables made public by WikiLeaks, some of which concerned Cuba. The Vatican's press director Federico Lombardi said Saturday that the statements quoted by U.S. officials in the cables "reflect the perceptions and opinions of the people who wrote them and cannot be considered expressions of the Holy See itself," according to CNN. Copa adds Bogotá flight

<p style="text-align: justify;">Panama-based Copa Airlines is offering a nonstop flight from Bogotá to Havana.The first of the once-a-week flights left Bogotá Eldorado at 10 a.m. on Sunday and arrived at 1:30 in Havana.
