Cuba maintains good relations with foreign investors

<p style="text-align: justify;">Cuba’s association with foreign capital continues to develop in several sectors, with good results complementing the efforts of the government, according to the statements of Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca. In the inauguration of the 28th International Trade Fair, with the presence of Ricardo Cabrisas, Jose Ramon Fernandez and Ulises Rosales del Toro, vicepresidents of the Council of Ministers, Malmierca said that more than 300 foreign companies are analyzing projects that will provide access to new markets for technology and financing. Cuba edge tough Thais in three

<p style="text-align: justify;">Cuba had to fight hard to overcome tough resistance by Thailand in a Group C match at the World Championship in Matsumoto, but ran out 3-0 winners (25-19, 29-27, 27-25) to pick up their second win of the tournament. Both teams are now 2-2. The Cubans were particularly strong at the net where they outblocked their Asian opponents 13-3. The Cuban tandem of Yoana Palacios and Kenia Carcaces proved to be too much for the Thais at least for tonight as they scored 19 and 17 points respectively with each of them recording two blocks and two aces.
