A Cuban visual arts exhibition is featured as part of the activities of the 14th edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Art, underway in the city of León, in the Mexican state of Guanajuato.

“I like teaching. I taught for 36 years. I began as a volunteer, and in 1969 I graduated from the Makarenko Pedagogical Institute for teacher training. After having retired for a whole year, last school year I decided to return to teaching because I missed school; it’s what I do best.”
