Havana Ballet Fest Honors Galicia
The Galician emigrants' joy and nostalgia motivated Spanish choreographer Ramon Oller to create a piece that mixes poems by famous Rosalia de Castro with music of bagpipes and synthesizers by Amancio Prada and Carlos Nunez.

It also includes the song Negra sombra (A Black Shadow), first performed in the Havana Gran Teatro in 1867 and danced yesterday by Anette Delgado and Joel Carreno.

The seventh day of the 21st Havana International Ballet Festival also included a program-concert that paid tribute to three BNC legendary BNC figures: Adolfo Roval, Menia Martinez and Marta Garcia.
