Cuban Company La Colmenita: 365 presentations in the year

The Cuban Company of children theatre, La Colmenita will offer next week its 365 presentation of the year, a number never before reached in such a period, announced to Prensa Latina its director Carlos Alberto Cremata.
The group, that received last October the title Goodwill Ambassador of the UNICEF, will make a tour through the zones affected in eastern Cuba by he rains of the tropical storm Noel.
The group will perform in the provinces of Granma and Holguin. In Holguin they will make some presentations at children hospitals.
La Colmenita have had an intense year. In April they made a tour through the cities of Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, presenting the play Los cuentos de Andersen (Andersen stories).
Last July they premiered in Havana Cenicienta según Los Beatles (Cinderella according to the Beatles), a play that received the support of both the critic and the public. To close the year, the company will travel to Spain and Portugal.
Founded in 1990, La Colmenita is a one of the most prestigious groups of its kind in Latin America.
