The IV annual Journey of Cuban Culture in San Miguel de Allende, at the central state of Guanajauto, will be devoted this year to the centennial of the Cuban musician Compay Segundo.

The meeting, to be held at the early March includes the delivering of the conmemorative medal Máximo Franciso Repilado Muñoz, who was born at Siboney Village at Santiago de Cuba Province, on November 18, 1907.

The accolade, in homage to the author and singer of Chan Chan -dead already-, will have the inscription "Centenario Compay Segundo", with this event, San Miguel de Allende will be the first city of the world, outside of Cuba, offerig a recognition to the notable musician.
