Cuban author Dania Ferro has once again taken to her social media platforms to candidly express her views, this time revealing the types of men she absolutely cannot tolerate. In a TikTok video, the writer voiced her disdain for certain male behaviors that she finds particularly offensive, holding nothing back in her commentary.
In her TikTok video, Ferro started by calling out gay men who, in her opinion, exhibit misogynistic attitudes and use social media as a tool to attack women.
"First on the list are those gay men who can't stand women, who harbor a deep-seated hatred, compete with them, and want to be more of a woman than a woman herself. They constantly criticize you on social media, disrespecting and saying nasty things," she stated.
Her critique didn't stop there. Ferro also targeted misogynistic men, particularly those who resort to violence or insults to get a woman's attention.
"The kind of man who is accustomed to hitting women, shouting at them, pushing them—deep down, he despises women," she declared.
Ferro also addressed what she calls "casueleros," men who, instead of complimenting a woman's post, choose to mock or deride it.
"I can't stand those 'casuelero' types who see a woman's video and try to catch her attention, but not in a nice way... they say things like, 'Oh, how ugly! Oh, this, oh, that, how annoying...' with sarcasm," she mimicked.
Although she initially planned to mention only two types of men, Ferro added another category to her list: "hombres princesos," a term popular on social media that she used without much explanation.
"I can't stand 'hombres princesos,' for heaven's sake. I just can't," she exclaimed with evident frustration.
Before wrapping up, Dania invited her followers to share their own thoughts on these behaviors: "Let me know in the comments if you also despise this type of man or can't stand them at all."
This isn't the first time the Cuban writer has sparked conversation with her social media statements. In November 2025, she publicly criticized several Cuban influencers, including Aly Sánchez, La Diosa, Imaray Ulloa, and Yoyi, for not promoting one of her novels despite receiving free copies.
A month later, she drew attention with a video complaining about her noisy neighbors in Lehigh Acres, Florida, a problem she later resolved by speaking with them.
Based in Florida since 2004, Dania Ferro is the author of books such as Relatos de la Mrs. López, Me cansé de compartir a mi pareja, and Mi esposa y yo tenemos amantes. Beyond writing, she also identifies as a speaker and life coach.
