A Double Birthday Celebration! Cuban reggaeton artist Velito El Bufón marked his birthday on October 22, surrounded by his close-knit team who surprised him with a festive cake. However, this day holds an even deeper significance for him as he shares his birthday with one of the most cherished people in his life: his mother.
The joyous occasion was captured in a video shared on Instagram by RepaNation TV, highlighting the moment when his friends and collaborators surprised him with a cake and a sparkler in the room where he was.
"Velito El Bufón started his birthday in a wonderful way... surrounded by his work team, which has become more like family," noted the Cuban entertainment outlet while posting images of the celebration.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when the singer himself took the opportunity to express his heartfelt sentiments toward his mother, with whom he shares this special date. Through an Instagram post, Velito shared several photos from his childhood with her, accompanied by a message full of love and gratitude.
"Today is one of the most special days of my life, because I not only celebrate my 24 years, but I also celebrate the life of the woman who gave me mine: my mom," the artist wrote.
He added words that reflect his deep affection and admiration for her: "Today, I celebrate another year of life, of learning, of dreams, and of battles, but above all, I celebrate having you, mom. Because before being who I am, I was a part of you, and a part of all the good in me will always belong to you."
This is not the first time the artist has shown a thoughtful gesture towards his mother. Last June, Velito surprised her with a trip, fulfilling one of her dreams, an experience he also shared with his followers.
Velito is also experiencing a thriving phase in his musical career. In June, he announced a three-year renewal of his artistic representation contract and recently released the single "Maniática." He has also collaborated with Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 on the track "Cuidámela."
In matters of the heart, there's plenty to celebrate as well. At the beginning of October, Velito and his Spanish girlfriend, Paula Martínez, celebrated their first anniversary with a romantic evening in Madrid.
