A 28-year-old Cuban man, identified by the initials I.B.R., was apprehended in Miami-Dade following a shocking incident where a woman fell from the trunk of a moving car, suffering a severe impact with the pavement that left her critically injured.
The event occurred around 8:40 a.m. on Saturday and was captured by surveillance cameras, as reported by Local 10, which accessed the arrest report.
Officers from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) responded to a call at the parking lot of a McDonald's located at 26601 S. Dixie Highway, after receiving a report of a woman falling from a moving vehicle.
Upon arrival, they found the victim, a 37-year-old woman later identified as Nikkita Wongchong, lying face down on the pavement.
Bystanders rushed to her aid, and officers performed resuscitation maneuvers until paramedics arrived on the scene.
The woman was taken to Jackson South Medical Center in critical condition. According to authorities cited by Local 10, doctors later determined she had suffered brain death.
