On Monday, Cuban influencer La Cintumbare broke her silence with a TikTok video where she reassured her followers about her well-being, disclosed her current location, and revealed that she sold her Instagram account to pay off a debt.
The video, recorded on the phone of a man she refers to as "Jíbaro," came a day after her sister Maura publicly expressed concern, stating they hadn't heard from her for two days and noticed her Instagram account had vanished.
"I've seen everything; I know people are looking for me, even Interpol is after me. Why are they searching for me so much? I'm an adult, I'm 30 years old, and I'm here at Jíbaro's house. I can't leave because I owe money here, and I need to settle that debt," the influencer stated at the beginning of the video.
La Cintumbare emphasized that she is staying there by choice, bound by a financial obligation she cannot break: "This is an agreement I have with him, and I can't let him down. Understand? I can't leave Jíbaro's house, so stop looking for me."
Regarding her missing Instagram account, she was straightforward: "The other account, I sold it. I had to, to pay a debt. Okay, bye, love you, stop looking for me, everything's fine. Bye."
However, the video also unveiled alarming details for her followers, who are increasingly worried about her health.

During the video, La Cintumbare implored her followers for financial help while expressing dissatisfaction with the amounts she receives: "Send me $100 or more, because the price of rocks has gone up, the material has increased... $20 is not enough; with $20, I can only smoke two small rocks."
The mention of "rocks" is a direct reference to her crack cocaine use, which she had previously admitted publicly. Even Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay had issued a public warning, telling her that such consumption would lead to her downfall.
La Cintumbare was deported from the United States to Cuba in February 2025 after failing to attend a scheduled immigration hearing.
