The Russian company ARK Technic has filed a second multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Cuban state aviation entities, just a month after approaching the same court to demand an additional 541 million rubles from Cubana de Aviación and the Cuban Aviation Corporation S.A. On September 4, a new claim was submitted to the Moscow Arbitration Court seeking to recover over 188 million rubles from the Cuban Aviation Import Company (Aviaimport S.A.) and CACSA, as reported by the Russian agency PRIME, citing court documents reviewed by RIA Novosti.
As of September 11, the lawsuit had not yet been admitted for consideration, and the basis of the claim had not been disclosed, leaving the contracts, services, or potential breaches that prompted this new legal action unknown.

Combined, ARK Technic's two claims amount to about 729 million rubles, equating to roughly $8.65 million at the current exchange rate. Although these are separate proceedings with different defendants, CACSA is involved in both, while the first lawsuit includes Cubana de Aviación and the second targets Aviaimport.
Currently, there is no public information to determine if both lawsuits stem from the same contractual origin. For the new claim, Russian judicial authorities have not disclosed the reasons behind the demand for more than 188 million rubles.
