Rauw Alejandro may be experiencing one of the happiest moments of his life, and it has nothing to do with his music career. According to journalist Álex Rodríguez on Univision's show ¡Siéntese quien pueda!, the Puerto Rican singer is rumored to have become a father for the first time just days ago, with a young student from Puerto Rico with whom he has reportedly been in a relationship for two years.

The news came as a shock to the Latin entertainment world, particularly since the 33-year-old artist had achieved the nearly impossible feat of keeping his romantic life completely private in the age of social media, following his high-profile breakup with Rosalía in 2023.

Rodríguez revealed that the couple resides together in New York City, where she is completing her university studies. She has reportedly been by the singer's side during numerous professional commitments, always staying out of the spotlight.

"Shortly after his relationship with Rosalía ended, Rauw Alejandro met a young student who now lives with him in New York. She accompanies him almost everywhere. They've been in a formal relationship for two years and are, truthfully, quite lovely and very private," explained the journalist during the program.

The couple managed to keep the pregnancy under wraps. "They've handled the pregnancy with the utmost discretion," Rodríguez noted, adding that the news was bound to come out: "No one wanted this to leak, but, obviously, it was going to happen, and better to tell it right than let it be told wrong."

Regarding the mood of the "Todo de ti" singer, the journalist made it clear: "Rauw is overjoyed; he's an incredible dad," and "he's absolutely smitten with the baby."
