Meet the 19 Contestants Vying for the Miss Universe Cuba 2026 Crown

The Miss Universe Cuba 2026 pageant kicks off tonight in Miami with its preliminary competition, marking the initial step towards the grand finale that will determine who will represent Cuba at the international event. The contestants have familiarized themselves with the stage at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay, located south of Miami, where they will compete. The organization has confirmed that everything is set for the event.

The preliminary round is scheduled for this Tuesday at 8:00 p.m., while the final gala will take place on Thursday, August 20, with a red carpet event at 6:00 p.m. and the live pageant at 7:00 p.m. Fans can watch both evenings through Miss Universe Cuba's YouTube channel and Mega TV.

This edition introduces a preliminary gala to the pageant format for the first time, aligning with the international Miss Universe framework, thereby raising the level of competition and excitement among fans.

The journey began in April with over 100 hopefuls in Miami and went through several selection phases, narrowing down to 22 candidates before arriving at the final group ready to compete for the crown.

The crown will be passed on by Lina Luaces, who was crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2025 last year and represented the island at the international competition held in Thailand in November.
