Cuban broadcaster Rolando Zaldívar has once again been spotted on the streets of Miami, where he expressed feeling "physically exhausted" as he continues to navigate a period of extreme vulnerability.
The community project Conducta Dade shared on Facebook this Tuesday that its members encountered the broadcaster, who welcomed the visit and agreed to sit down for an extended conversation.
"We tried to assist him in every way we could," the group stated, noting a phrase Zaldívar repeated several times during the meeting: "He's very tired, very physically exhausted."
The organization did not provide further details regarding his health status or the exact location where he was found.
However, they announced plans to share parts of the conversation later, allowing Zaldívar to explain his current circumstances in his own words.
"We continue to do what we can: approach, listen, and extend a helping hand without judgment," said Conducta Dade, a project known for aiding vulnerable individuals in South Florida.

This latest encounter reaffirms the project's commitment to his situation, yet Zaldívar's expressed exhaustion raises renewed concerns about the future of the popular Cuban broadcaster.
Zaldívar was one of the most recognizable voices on Cuban radio during the 1990s, particularly known for his work on the program "Disco Fiesta 98," aired by Radio Ciudad de La Habana.
After leaving Cuba, he lived in Mexico and Houston before settling in Miami in 2014.
Struggles and Setbacks
Over the years, personal issues and addiction problems distanced him from the media, leading to increasingly difficult circumstances.
His situation gained public attention in November 2025, following his arrest in Miami for petty theft and cocaine possession.
The release of his mugshot sparked concern over his apparent physical deterioration.
A month later, Conducta Dade managed to locate him and began offering support, urging the Cuban community to approach him with respect and solidarity.
In February 2026, Zaldívar publicly acknowledged his struggle with addiction, stating he had been using substances for about a year.
During that conversation, he expressed a desire to change and offered a poignant reflection on his situation and his intention to recover: "After hitting rock bottom, the only way is up."
The broadcaster subsequently entered a rehabilitation center but left the program in April.
Conducta Dade explained that addiction recovery is not a straightforward process and that an initial attempt may not always suffice.
