A 28-year-old Cuban man was fatally stabbed on Friday night in a boarding house located in the Paso de la Arena neighborhood in western Montevideo, Uruguay. This incident was confirmed by local media, citing sources within Uruguay's Ministry of the Interior.
The tragic event unfolded following an altercation between the victim and a Venezuelan neighbor residing in the same guesthouse. The confrontation escalated when the Venezuelan man grabbed a knife and inflicted multiple stab wounds on the Cuban man.
The incident took place near the intersection of Curuzú Cuatiá and Mauricio Llamas streets, according to Subrayado. The victim suffered severe cuts to his neck and abdomen.
