Mere hours after Imaray Ulloa and Fabián Fontaine disclosed their split following a five-year relationship, Cuban actor and comedian Yubrán Luna—Imaray's former partner of seven years—stirred social media by posting a reel on Instagram. The video concluded with a provocative question: "Did I do right or wrong?"
Featuring his artistic partner Rosa Vasconcelos, the video begins with a somber and dramatic tone reminiscent of Imaray's breakup announcement: "Hello folks, we've got some bad news, so please tune in. I don’t even know how to explain it, but anyway, I'll keep it short."
Yet, the "tragedy" unfolds differently: Rosa reveals they owe 80% of a trip to the Dominican Republic, that Yubrán was unfairly fired, and that she needs him to find a night job so she can enjoy her vacation in peace.
The sketch doesn't shy away from juicy details: Rosa recalls a "very difficult" year for Yubrán, during which he "had to undergo surgery for a pimple on his butt." The punchline hits when she vows to miss him dearly on the beach... promising to bring back a bottle of mamajuana as a gift.
The parody was quickly interpreted as a pointed reference to Imaray's video, with comments confirming this notion: "It's obviously a parody of yesterday's video from the other couple we all know" (35 likes); "Few words are needed for the wise, those who understood know who they're targeting" (25 likes).
Many followers admitted to an initial scare: the most reacted comment on the video was "I thought they were breaking up too," with 435 likes, followed by "I don't know why, but I thought it was a divorce," with 285 likes.
Others were more direct in their critique of the sketch: "A good satire for those who live exposing their private life on social media to monetize it," wrote a user, garnering 17 likes.
The reel gathered over 13,000 likes and 1,522 comments within a day—modest numbers compared to Imaray's video, which received 123,000 likes—but enough to become the talk of the Cuban entertainment scene in Miami.
Yubrán and Imaray were together from 2014 until August 2021 and co-starred in the popular show "Ni Luna Ni Miel." In January 2024, Yubrán publicly admitted that he "didn't love her as he should have and wasn't up to par" with what Imaray deserved.
This isn't the first time the comedian subtly responds to his ex's content: in April 2026, he left a comment widely interpreted as a jab at an Imaray video, writing, "The problem isn't ambition, it's not being interested and loving money; the problem is being just that..."
