This electrifying scene unfolded on Saturday, June 28, at the Cubatonazo Fest held at the Ocean Club Maspalomas. This marked the festival's first edition in the Canary Islands, where the Havana-born artist grooved to one of his hit tracks from atop the towering structure, several meters high.

The Cubatonazo Fest's Debut in Spain
Initially established in Miami as a leading festival for Cuban urban music, Cubatonazo Fest chose Gran Canaria for its Spanish debut. The lineup boasted some of the most renowned names in the island's urban music scene: El Micha, Wampi, Yet Garbey, Dany Ome, Kevincito El 13, El Chulo, Charly & Johayron, dancers Los Datway and Fredyclan, along with DJs Lao and Onel.
Organized by JBM Events and R Productions, with support from the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Town Hall, the event ran from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It featured live performances, entertainers, foam cannons, and traditional cuisine, with sponsorship from Absolut vodka.
