El Micha Announces Rekindled Romance with Ana María, Mother of His Children: "I'm Staying with You"

Cuban reggaeton star El Micha has officially announced his reconciliation with Ana María Daniel, mother of his two children. On Monday, he marked her 40th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

In the post shared on his verified profile, El Micha referred to her as "my wife," "my friend," and "my partner in life," expressing gratitude for their 14-year relationship.

"I'd marry you five or six times because I love you and you are my life," wrote the singer, adding the hashtag #tremendachamaca and affectionately calling her "my Holguin girl."

Ana María, meanwhile, celebrated her milestone with a photoshoot and posted a thankful message on her own social media, expressing gratitude to God "for health, for my family, for my children, and for the people who have come into my life."

This public confirmation comes nine months after their highly publicized separation within the Cuban exile community.

Back in September 2025, Ana María had announced the split with a direct message: "What once was will no longer be. El Micha, many blessings on your new path. I wish you luck. Luck in Cuba."

The breakup coincided with El Micha's announcement of his return to Cuba, revealing in the podcast SePoneWeno, "I choose to go to Cuba because I don't want to pay any more bills... I'm going to Cuba where people show you affection."

His remarks about "real family" in Cuba, notably omitting his children, sparked controversy. Ana María responded sharply: "So your children aren't your family then."

At that time, Sachy Sánchez also chimed in, publicly declaring: "My friend, you left her on the street with your kids, but there are people like me who made sure your kids didn't end up on the street."

After the split, Ana María resumed her career as a real estate agent in Miami with the backing of her followers, while whispers of a potential reunion began to surface.

The first signs of reconciliation appeared in March 2026, when El Micha shared a supportive message for Ana María celebrating her professional achievement, calling her "my life" and noting, "your success will always be mine."

In May 2026, Ana María publicly defended the artist in a controversial video: "I will always stand up for him. You have to have guts because the guy has made history."

However, at that time, she clarified: "He is the father of my children. Even if we are no longer together, he is the father of my children and my family," without confirming a reunion.

This Monday's message, where El Micha explicitly calls her "my wife" and reflects on their 14 years together, dispels any doubts and puts an end to months of speculation about the couple's future.
