Cuqui La Mora's Hilarious Prank on Víctor Molina Leaves Everyone in Stitches: "I Almost Had a Heart Attack"

The Cuban comedian, Cuqui La Mora, recently pulled a hilarious prank on her fellow comedian and friend, Víctor Molina. She tricked him into believing that she was planning to grow marijuana in a room of her Florida home, using a fake plant as a prop. This amusing video was shared on Instagram last Sunday.

In the nearly five-minute clip, Cuqui sets up a hidden camera near where Víctor is seated and secretly shares her so-called plan with him. She tells him that she intends to close off part of the property, keep only the Airbnb rooms operational, and use the remaining space to grow the plant, claiming she needs money to pay off debts.

"I'm going to play a prank on Víctor. Look what I have here, I'm going to tell him I want to plant this in the house, let's see what he does," Cuqui explains at the start of the video, approaching her friend with the fake plant in hand.

Víctor's reaction is one of genuine concern from the outset, warning her that she'd end up in jail and pointing out that the amount of lights required would give her away. His initial response to the plan is blunt: "Are you crazy?"

Despite his objections, Cuqui persists, justifying her plan with financial figures: "20,000, 30,000 dollars a month, isn't it worth it?" she asks, adding that the business would help her clear her debts. Víctor, still unconvinced, even offers her money to abandon the idea: "If I give you a thousand pesos a month, would that work for you?" to which he humorously counters: "Don't tempt me."

Not the First Time Víctor Is Tricked

This isn't Víctor's first time falling for Cuqui's antics. Back in November 2024, she had already fooled him with another prank, which became popular among their followers as "the fish dies by its mouth."

At the end of the video, Víctor realizes the plant is fake and that he was being recorded with a hidden camera. His reaction, upon discovering the truth, sums up the moment perfectly: "It's your joke, it's not a joke, I want to read the plant."

Cuqui La Mora, whose real name is Aleanys Jáuregui, runs a vacation rental business at her Florida property, often the setting for her social media content. Víctor Molina arrived in Miami in December 2023, where Cuqui surprised him upon his arrival. Since then, the two have maintained a lively friendship within the Cuban artistic circuit in exile, frequently appearing together on social media and at events.

In February 2025, Cuqui fulfilled one of Víctor's dreams by taking him to New York, and by November of that year, he visited Cuqui's new home in Miami again, solidifying a friendship that continues to capture the audience's attention.
