Jorge Carlos Pajón's Instagram Account Disappears After Threats Alerted by La Dura

Tuesday, May 12, 2026 by Alexander Flores

The Instagram account of Jorge Carlos Pajón, who is the partner of Cuban influencer La Dura, has been unavailable since Tuesday. It appears that the account was taken down following La Dura's public warning about a hack, and she also revealed that threats against her boyfriend had been developing for a week.

On Monday, La Dura posted a story on her verified account @diliamnejacob, directly addressing her followers: "Good morning! We woke up to @Jorge Carlos Pajon’s account being hacked. If you receive uncomfortable or strange messages from that account, please don't take it the wrong way or respond until further notice. Thank you for your constant support and affection."

The announcement was accompanied by more details. In a subsequent story, La Dura shared screenshots of threatening comments on Pajón’s posts, stating, "The threats started a week ago."

The images depicted numerous coordinated messages from accounts with animal names—like dragon, rabbit, penguin, jellyfish, camel, and goose—a classic pattern of bots or fake profiles operating systematically.

The comments were unsettlingly consistent: “your account will be banned,” “this is already settled, we will report all,” “everyone against the boy,” and “we are a huge community.”

The situation had already escalated by Monday. Pajón had publicly expressed his frustration in his stories.

Currently, it remains unclear whether Diliamne Jouve’s boyfriend’s account was hacked and then suspended, or if it was reported, leading to its disappearance.

The couple, who made their relationship official on February 14 and are known for frequently sharing their travel adventures and romantic moments, have become frequent targets of digital attacks since appearing together publicly.

The incident involving Pajón and La Dura highlights an increasingly common issue faced by public figures and influencers: digital warfare, coordinated mass reporting, and organized harassment on social media have become genuine threats capable of wiping out entire accounts overnight.

Understanding Digital Threats and Account Security

What can influencers do to protect their accounts from being hacked?

Influencers can enhance their account security by enabling two-factor authentication, using strong and unique passwords, being cautious with suspicious messages, and regularly monitoring their account activities for any unusual behavior.

How can public figures handle coordinated attacks on their social media accounts?

Public figures can manage coordinated attacks by promptly reporting the issue to the platform, seeking assistance from cybersecurity professionals, and raising awareness among their followers to prevent further spread of misinformation.

Why are influencers frequent targets of digital harassment?

Influencers are often targeted due to their visibility and influence, which can attract both positive and negative attention. The public nature of their work makes them vulnerable to envy, competition, or malicious intent from individuals or groups.
