Just three days after undergoing breast reduction surgery in Miami, popular Cuban influencer Yainelis Ramírez, known as La Melliza, took to her Instagram stories to humorously update her followers on her recovery journey.
La Melliza, who underwent the procedure last Friday, had her 500 cc saline implants, which she had for many years, replaced with 350 cc implants. "I can't move my arms much because it's been just three days since the surgery," she explained at the beginning of the video, noting that the operation is "quite delicate."
Regarding her previous implants, she shared that they were in excellent condition upon removal: "They were pristine, white, no issues with the saline inside. The only problem was their size and how high they sat." The difference was evident: "My breasts feel so small now," she laughed.
Her sister was responsible for filming and posting the video, as La Melliza is currently unable to use her phone freely or lift her arms. "My sister is the one pressing the button for the stories... she's taking care of everything for me," she mentioned.
The impromptu caregiver also handles her meals, something La Melliza joked about: "I'm going to gain who knows how many pounds because look, I'm getting breakfast, lunch, dinner... now she bought me gelatin." She added humorously, "I removed my breasts to look slimmer, so how can I eat this much? But I need to eat because I'm on antibiotics."
Despite the post-surgery discomfort, La Melliza reassured her audience: "Just so everyone knows, I'm perfectly fine. This is part of the process."
This wasn't the first post-operative update her fans received. Her sister posted the first video the day after the surgery, and it was met with overwhelming positivity.
Supportive comments flooded her social media, with fans expressing their happiness for her decision and smooth recovery: "Finally, Melli, I'm so glad you took the step and are recovering well," and "You finally decided, Melli, I'm sure you look beautiful, speedy recovery," were just a few of the heartfelt messages, indicating that La Melliza had previously expressed a desire for the surgery.
