A white van crashed into the rear of a National Buses vehicle in Santiago de Cuba, specifically at the first ring bridge, during the afternoon this past Sunday. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported from the accident.

The incident was shared on the Facebook group "Accidents Buses & Trucks" by user Yeilier Cabrera, who described the event as a "traffic accident at the first ring bridge in the afternoon hours."

The bus involved, marked with the number 3073, is part of the Chinese Yutong fleet operated by National Buses for interprovincial routes.

The van, likely an Isuzu D-Max, suffered extensive damage to its front, with its bodywork completely destroyed due to the impact. In contrast, the bus sustained minor damages.

Eyewitness Account and Investigation

A presumed witness commented on the post explaining what transpired: "I was there; the van's right tire burst, causing it to veer into the bus."

Official confirmation regarding the causes and responsibilities of the accident has not been provided, with the witness account being the sole narrative about the accident's origin.

Photos from the scene show a group of around 10 to 15 people gathered between the vehicles, seemingly witnesses or those involved, with no visible emergency teams present at the time.
