Claudia Artiles Takes a Dramatic Tumble While Holding Son Marlon

Yesterday, Cuban influencer Claudia Artiles experienced a dramatic fall down the stairs of her Miami home while carrying her son Marlon. She shared the entire incident with her followers via footage captured by her home’s security camera.

The mishap took place on the main entrance steps, which are made of tile. The fall was triggered by a water bottle on the ground that Claudia failed to notice in time.

Claudia explained the situation in the video overlay, stating, "Family, I fell with Marlon in my arms, tried to shield him and took a hard hit. I initially thought it was the blanket, but after watching the video, I slipped on a water bottle."

Claudia's instinct was to protect Marlon at all costs, and she succeeded: the three-year-old, who has Down syndrome, emerged unscathed. It was Claudia who bore the brunt of the impact against the stairs. "I cried like a little girl, such a great pain," she wrote in the accompanying video text.

Her partner, Ultrack, was asleep when he heard her cry out. He also posted his own video detailing what he witnessed afterward: "She slipped down the tile steps. She was carrying the child, and to prevent him from being hurt, she absorbed the impact."

The video footage reveals a long, reddish scrape on Claudia's leg from the contact with the tile steps. According to Ultrack, swelling developed but subsided after taking ibuprofen.

In the comments section, Claudia directly addressed her followers with a mix of relief and pain: "I'm in a lot of pain, but we’re okay, Marlon wasn't harmed." In another message, she added, "Mom, it hurts, but he’s fine, he was just scared seeing me like that."

Claudia's community responded with an outpouring of love and admiration for her maternal instincts. One follower encapsulated the sentiment many felt watching the video: "Her protective instinct is stronger than any physical pain. That 'It's okay, don't be scared' was said just to keep fear away from her son's heart." Another remarked, "I got hurt, but Marlon is fine. That touched the heart. The fall occurred on a particularly eventful day for Claudia, as she also posted a video responding to criticism about Marlon's care, showcasing his progress by counting to five and using sign language.
