The phenomenon of therians continues to capture attention on TikTok, and this time, the viral moment wasn't in a park or behind a mask, but during a phone call that quickly took off on social media.
A Cuban content creator challenged a young woman who identifies as a therian: if she called her mother and confessed to being a "seal therian," she would win a pair of headphones. The young woman accepted and dialed her mother's number right there.
"Mom, I wanted to tell you something... I'm a therian. A seal therian," she declared with complete seriousness.
The response was swift: "What seal? Are you out of your mind? You're abnormal." Her mother couldn't grasp where this was coming from and made it clear that she wasn't going to take the confession lightly. When the young woman expressed that she thought her mother would support her, the reply was even more blunt. "Why would I support such nonsense? You're abnormal."
The video quickly went viral, with comments ranging from laughter to applause, but all for the mother. "THAT IS A CUBAN MOTHER," one user wrote.
