Pollito Tropical's TikTok Account Remains Hijacked by Scammers

What initially appeared to be a hacking incident has turned into an ongoing nightmare for Pollito Tropical. The Cuban influencer has once again spoken out, revealing that his primary TikTok account, boasting 4.8 million followers, is still under the control of scammers.

Several weeks ago, Pollito Tropical disclosed that his account had been compromised since June 1. He detailed how the perpetrators changed the registered device, country, and email associated with the account. They even went as far as demanding $10,000 to return control of the account to him.

However, rather than being resolved, the situation persists. In his latest video update, he stated that the hackers continue to post his content and, more alarmingly, use his identity to solicit money and communicate with sponsors, pretending to be him.

"My TikTok account is still hacked. They keep posting my videos. They are collecting money and reaching out to my sponsor friends. It's frustrating," Pollito Tropical expressed.

The content creator admitted that he feels the need to start a new account, but TikTok won't allow it as long as the compromised account remains active. "I need to open a new account, but they won't let me unless the old one is taken down," he explained, urging his followers once more to report the hacked profile so it can be permanently closed.

Meanwhile, his account with 4.8 million followers continues to operate beyond his control, prolonging a situation that has now spanned more than six months and, for the time being, seems to lack an immediate resolution.
