The excitement for Aída is reigniting, now making its way across the Atlantic. On February 5th at noon, Miami will host the special U.S. premiere of the film Aída y Vuelta, directed by Paco León and featuring the original cast of the series that captivated an entire generation of viewers, including thousands of Cubans.
This special event will be held at Cinépolis, with appearances by Paco León (Luisma), Carmen Machi (Aída), and Canco Rodríguez (Barajas), who will engage with the audience during the screening.
Tickets, as confirmed by organizers on Instagram, sold out quickly despite the screening taking place during working hours. Fortunately for fans, additional dates are scheduled in Florida and other cities.
The eagerly awaited film blends fiction and reality by depicting the filming of a special episode of the series, where characters and actors intertwine to explore themes of humor, fame, and the passage of time.
Already showing in theaters since January 30th, the film has been playing in Spain and other European cities before making its way to Latin America and the United States.
