A Cuban woman residing in the United States took to social media to express her outrage over what she alleges to be a scam after making a purchase on Amazon worth $2,300, only to receive a completely different and poorly conditioned item instead of the furniture she ordered.

The incident was brought to light through a TikTok video by user @zuny_sanchez, who appears visibly upset by the ordeal. She explained that she had fallen in love with a table she ordered on October 9, understanding that delivery would take several weeks. The expected arrival date was late November or early December, so she waited patiently without raising any complaints.

"I was so excited to go pick up my table, and this is what I find after waiting over two months for it," she wrote in the video description.

However, the surprise was enormous upon receiving the package. Instead of the table, she claims she was given a rusted, deteriorated object bearing no resemblance to the item she purchased. In the video, she shows the receipt and contrasts what was ordered with what eventually arrived at her home.

"Can you believe that for $2,300, this is what they sent me?" she angrily asks, displaying the package's contents. She also points out discrepancies in the packaging, asserting that the box received does not match the dimensions the furniture should have had.

The user explained that she had already contacted Amazon's customer support and was instructed to reach out directly to the seller. According to her, the seller requested photos of the received product as part of the complaint process. Yet, the situation grew more complicated as it seemed the return window had already expired by the time she discovered the issue.

"This is the worst thing that has happened to me while shopping on Amazon. I've shopped there my whole life and never experienced anything like this," she stated.

Clearly frustrated and disappointed, the woman sought advice from her followers, asking if anyone had encountered a similar situation and whether they managed to get their money back. "Has anyone else had something like this happen with Amazon?" she asked.
